Lupeni Children’s Home (Lupeni, Romania)

Contacts are Vasile Nemes (Chairman) and Pastor Mircea Ursu.

Started with a vision that every member of Church could help support a child with just grams of sugar, oil and flour.

There are 450 abandoned children across the city. The main industry is coal mining and many are unemployed because the demand for that resource has declined. Many struggle with the issue of abject poverty.

Give material and financial advice and support for families in need in hopes that their children will not be abandoned.

At the orphanage, the desire is to offer shelter, provide food, clothes, education but most important, to teach them about God and His love and kindness.

In 2015, was able to help 15 families and over 55 children – 18 children live in the Orphanage ranging in age from 5 to 17 years.

“…Ye are of more value than many sparrows.”  Matthew 10:31

“We thank God that His love continues to bless every child from our home.”

“I look at them as little birds, full of energy and enthusiasm, ready to fly to the unknown.” Vasile Nemes
