Galina is the director of the Ministry of Compassion – The need for humanitarian and social programs in Moscow is huge because of the lack of government support.
The Ministry of Compassion celebrated 25 Years of service in May 2013. Their ministry extends to hospitals, orphanages, children’s homes, the elderly, prisoners, drug addicts and the unemployed with rehabilitation programs, food distribution, provision of basic needs and summer camps.
The Ministry of Compassion is very involved in distributing Bibles, New Testaments and Christian literature to people less fortunate. “I waited for this book all my life. It is the Word of God that I needed the most!” commented a War Veteran upon receiving his copy.
